A reinterpretation of the classic British school bag, this new take pays homage to the heritage of the bag but updates the design by refining the dimensions and adding convenient magnetic closures (rather than the buckle fastenings of a traditional Satchel). The 11 Inch Satchel is a timeless piece of British design and the perfect size for those with a disciplined approach to their daily essentials. Made from 100% leather at our workshop in the British Midlands, this 11 Inch Satchel has been embossed with our name on its reverse and on its nickel hardware. This Satchel also has a handy front pocket, allowing you easy access to whatever you need to make your day a success - your phone, your diary, a corkscrew... You can carry your satchel by your side with its adjustable shoulder strap and when you're not, keep it safe from scratches and away from sunlight in its protective dust bag.

Clean Regularly

Store your bag in its Cambridge Satchel dust bag when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust.
Condition Leather
Apply leather conditioner periodically to maintain suppleness and prevent drying.
We’re always looking for ways to be more sustainable, because it’s already at the core of what we do. Our leather bags have always been made from natural hides, which are a product of livestock farming, and which would have otherwise gone to waste.
