"This is my fourth Cambridge satchel handbag. I could not resist the bright colours and cheerfulness of this bag. It’s beautifully made in high quality leather and a pure joy to use!"
Quality is desirable
"I purchased the Poppy bag online back in 2017. I received a very stiff bag and within one year of almost daily use, the embossing had faded so much it was nearly gone. The lock and clasp were also discouloured. I took it to the store were it was labeled beyond repair and I was given a brand new handbag, which had a significant softer leather. It has been in use ever since. However, I had the same issue with the lock in 2020. Customer service send me a replacement. The bag is still in use but given that the embossing is so poorly made and the clasp is rather cheap, I wouldn't purchase it again (also in 2017 I only paid 95 GBP for it."
Disappointment Experience - No Response from Customer Service
"Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience for me. I received my order on my May 28, 2026 and sent an email to their return department asking for a replacement because the leather on one edge of the handbag is wrinkled, bumpy, and not smooth. It is not the same as all other edges on this bag. Receiving no response, I sent a follow-up email on June 4, 2026. Still, I received no response, not even an acknowledgment that they are reviewing my request for a replacement item. This poor experience has made me feel they do not value customer service. I will have to think twice before ordering anything from Cambridge Satchel in the future."

"Really happy with that product, high quality, finishes and leather. Product is conform to description and picture. Glad to have this handmade bad. The color is just splendid ! It is a lovely green. It was a perfect Christmas gift wrapped in a protective bag. Delivery was really fast tooks 4 days for a delivery in North of France."

"She’s a pretty little bag and she fits all my daily “stuff” easily: sunglasses, phone, pens, a small case for makeup and meds, you know, all the essentials. Love the cross-body strap, even though I also like carrying her by hand just as much. The color is yummy and the texture seems pretty smooth, even though I think the website described her as having some texture? Bizarre. Anyway, my third or fourth bag and I just love it."
